Paying your tuition fees

You can pay your tuition fees with a student loan, through an approved sponsor or by one of these University-accepted payment options.

All students and payers should familiarise themselves with the latest scams targeting students.

Student loans

If your fee status is 'Home' and you are starting your first undergraduate course, you may be able to through the UK government. Read more about undergraduate student loans

If your application is successful, the University will be notified and your loan details will appear under the 'Fees and Payments' section when you register.

If no loan details appear, do not select an alternative payment method as you may be charged twice; you will be asked if you have applied for a tuition fee loan. Select 'yes'.

If you no longer need your loan, contact the relevant student finance authority below to cancel the loan and send an email to the University's Student Finance team to advise the loan has been cancelled.

Students with sponsors

You may have a sponsor who is willing to pay for your tuition fees. A sponsor could be an employer, a commercial organisation or a government body; a sponsor is not a friend or relative who has agreed to pay your tuition fee.

If a sponsor is approved by the University, the sponsorship details will appear when completing the 'Fees and Payments' section of registration. You will need to confirm the details are correct to complete this section. If there are any errors, contact Student Finance immediately.
