In this role, you will design, deliver, and evaluate evidence-based strength and conditioning programmes across a diverse range of sports, supporting both individual athletes and teams.

Your work will directly contribute to enhancing performance, reducing injury risk, and supporting long-term athlete development within a high-performance system. Beyond programme delivery, you’ll contribute to creating a high-quality training environment that reflects best practice in athlete preparation. This includes monitoring performance, managing training loads, and maintaining strong communication with key stakeholders to ensure a cohesive support network around each athlete. You will also play an active role in maintaining professional standards, contributing to team processes, and supporting continuous improvement across the programme.

This role sits within a wider vision to provide an outstanding dual-career environment, enabling student-athletes to thrive both academically and athletically. It offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated practitioner to develop their expertise, contribute to a progressive performance culture, and make a meaningful impact in a sector that values collaboration, mastery, purpose and taking pride in what we do.

About you

We are looking for a motivated and collaborative practitioner who can deliver high-quality strength and conditioning support within a performance sport environment.

You should have

 • proven experience delivering strength and conditioning to performance athletes and coaches
 • experience designing, implementing, and monitoring evidence-based training programmes across a range of sports
 • strong applied knowledge of key principles such as periodisation, injury prevention, recovery, and performance optimisation
 • a degree in sport science (or equivalent experience) with a focus on the physical preparation of athletes is required
 • UKSCA accreditation (or ability to achieve within 6 months)

Further information

This is a full-time role (36.5 hours per week) for a fixed-term period of 2 years.

<![CDATA[69色情片 Associate (ED13705)]]> /jobs/rss/click.aspx?ref=ED13705 /jobs/rss/click.aspx?ref=ED13705 The Department of Psychology at the University of Bath is seeking a highly motivated Post-Doctoral 69色情片 Associate to join the NIHR-funded Bath Mental Health 69色情片 Group (£11M).

About the role

The Bath Mental Health 69色情片 Group aims to improve mental health and wellbeing in young people aged between 12 and 25 in Bath, North-East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire.

This role is embedded within a programme of applied research focused on improving access to, and outcomes from, community mental health services for children and young people, with a particular focus on neurodivergent youth through the use of electronic health records.

The 69色情片 Associate will join the project, “Harnessing the power of electronic health records to understand and improve access and outcomes in community mental health services for neurodivergent youth”, led by Dr Katherine Button.

There is a substantial gap in mental health provision for children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and oppositional defiant disorder, which is particularly concerning given their high rates of co-occurring anxiety and/or depression.

Needs and outcome reporting in children and young people’s mental health services is highly variable, making it difficult to build a clear picture of current provision and to identify opportunities for targeted improvement.

It is therefore unclear how well these services are meeting the needs of neurodivergent youth, and whether modifications to existing treatments (e.g. adapted CBT) are required.

This project aims to use routinely collected health data to better understand current practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and inform future service development.

To address these issues, the 69色情片 Associate will work in partnership with the digital technology company Mayden and with community mental health services to produce publications and applied research outputs, including:

 • Using routinely collected clinical and administrative mental health data to examine how neurodiversity and co-occurring externalising difficulties are recorded within services for children and young people, the types of interventions received, and whether patterns of access and outcomes differ across groups.
 • Conducting quantitative analyses of large-scale health and service-level datasets to address applied research questions relevant to community mental health provision, and contributing to peer-reviewed publications and reports.
 • Working with key stakeholders (e.g. NHS services, commissioners, clinicians, young people and carers) to understand data practices and priorities, and contributing to co-production activities aimed at identifying and refining candidate screening and outcome measures suitable for use within electronic health record systems.
 • Producing evidence-based recommendations and outputs to inform future service development, data use, and best-practice guidance.

What we're looking for

We welcome applications from candidates who have:

 • A PhD in psychology, psychiatry, epidemiology, statistics, data science or related discipline, with a strong quantitative research element.
 • Knowledge and experience of mental health research, ideally with children and young people.
 • Experience of working with administrative data, electronical health records and/or big data is desirable but not essential
 • Experience with advanced quantitative data analysis and data code (preferably using R or Stata) and a commitment to research integrity, reproducibility, and open research.
 • Excellent team working, communication, and time management skills.
 • While prior experience of working with electronic health records or administrative data is desirable, candidates with strong quantitative skills and a demonstrable interest in applied mental health research are encouraged to apply.

Additional information

We have one position available offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) fixed-term basis for an initial period of 3 years.

Informal enquiries about this role should be directed to Dr Katherine Button (K.S.Button@bath.ac.uk).

A lower grade offer may be made (Grade 6) with comparable reduction in responsibilities and amendment in job title to 69色情片 Assistant, if a suitable applicant cannot be found to fill the Grade 7 position. Applicants will need to be within six months of their course completion date and will be promoted to 69色情片 Associate once their PhD has been awarded.

<![CDATA[Postdoctoral 69色情片 Associate (SS13735)]]> /jobs/rss/click.aspx?ref=SS13735 /jobs/rss/click.aspx?ref=SS13735 About the role

We are recruiting for a postdoctoral research associate to work on a new, experimentally-driven research project in synthetic inorganic chemistry, funded by the Leverhulme Trust.

The project aims to provide new strategies for achieving "precious metal-like" redox catalysis using main group elements, and is driven by both sustainability concerns and fundamental academic curiosity. Other recent studies in this area have typically focused on trying to directly mimic the elementary reaction steps used by precious metals, despite these being poorly matched to most main group elements' "natural" reactivity. Instead, this project aims to develop new elementary steps that can be used to form alternative, "main group-friendly" catalytic mechanisms, while retaining precious metal-like net outcomes. To do this, the successful applicant will design, synthesise, and investigate main group Lewis acids with redox-active scaffolds that will enable systematic, "umpolung" transformation of nucleophiles into electrophiles, as a direct alternative to traditional reductive elimination steps.

About you

We are seeking an exceptional postdoctoral candidate with a strong track record of successful research in the field of molecular inorganic synthesis, who possesses good organisational and presentation skills, and who can be an effective organiser of their own research and administrative duties. The latter will include coordination of research with external project collaborators, and assistance in the broader management of the Scott research group (including co-supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research students).

Applicants must hold a PhD (or equivalent qualification) in chemistry or a closely related subject, or be close to completion at the time of applying.

Experience and expertise in the synthesis and manipulation of air-sensitive compounds are essential. Experience in the field of "transition metal-like" main group chemistry is desirable, but not essential for applicants with good experience in other areas of molecular inorganic synthesis.

Experience with NMR spectroscopy is essential. Experience with other relevant characterisation techniques such as XRD, CV, and/or EPR is desirable, but is not essential for otherwise strong candidates.

The potential to publish work in high quality, peer-reviewed journals is essential, and may be demonstrated either by an applicant's prior publication record or by providing suitable recommendations from the applicant's previous research supervisor(s).

Further information

This position is offered on a full-time basis with a duration of up to 24 months, and a suggested start date of September 14th 2026 (although earlier or later starts are also possible, depending on applicants' specific needs). It will be supervised by Dr Daniel Scott, who can be contacted if applicants require further information about the proposed research or would like to informally discuss any other aspect of their application (ds2630@bath.ac.uk). More general information about the Scott group can be found here: .

Interviews for shortlisted applicants will be organised as soon as possible upon closing of the application window.
