"I鈥檝e changed from the person I was at the start of my master鈥檚. I feel more confident, and I wouldn鈥檛 have got that if I hadn鈥檛 come to Bath."

A supportive network

What I鈥檒l take away from Bath most are the people I鈥檝e met and the opportunities that have arisen from being here. The people on my course 鈥 they鈥檙e absolutely amazing. We鈥檝e got on really well, and, because there鈥檙e only 18 of us, it鈥檚 like a little family.

If I have any problems, I know who to go to. You can easily email lecturers to arrange a Microsoft Teams call or a meeting. The fact they make themselves available to us 鈥 it鈥檚 a big benefit, not just academically, but emotionally and personally.

Making the most of new opportunities

I really like Bath because you鈥檝e just got to come to the campus and everything鈥檚 there. It鈥檚 very easy to get around, and you know where you鈥檙e going because everything鈥檚 located in relation to the Library.

One nice surprise was that every Bath student can book free tennis courts, free swim lanes, football pitches, hockey pitches, and so on. I鈥檝e used the athletics track and the swimming pool a lot, and I try to use the tennis courts as much as possible.

You鈥檙e at the University to study, but you鈥檙e also there to grow as an individual and become a better person, so it鈥檚 good to try other things.
